Loft and Cavity Wall Insulation
Uninsulated properties can lose as much as 60% of the heat that is generated from the heating system. Because warm air rises, most of the heat loss is through the uninsulated or poorly insulated loft. Therefore, it is essential to insulate the loft in order to keep your heating costs down. With the help of the current ECO Scheme, you may be entitled to the Insulation FREE OF CHARGE.
Simply insulating your loft to the recommended depth of 270mm can save you up to £300 per year on your energy bill.
Loft insulation is a single most cost-effective, low-risk energy efficiency measure available for the existing housing stock. Installed without major disruption to occupants and it needs no maintenance.
Cavity Wall Insulation
If your home has no cavity wall insulation, apply for an ECO Grant today and you could save up to £350 every year on your heating bills.
Most houses constructed after 1924 consist of two layers of brick or block work with a gap, also known as a cavity between them. However, it was not until the 1980’s that the Building Regulations made it compulsory.
By installing cavity wall insulation householders can save up to £350 per year on their heating bills. (According to the Energy Saving Trust).
The insulation is regulated by Ofgem and as a qualifying party, under the ECO guidelines, there will be no charge for the work to either yourself or your tenants, this, in turn, it will Reduce Heat Lost as well as providing a saving of up to £300 per year on an average fuel bill.
All materials used are totally dry, natural, ozone friendly, water repellent, fire resistant and assessed & approved by the BBA British Board of Agreement.
